CHERI Graphic Designer

While working with Children’s Health and Education Resources (CHERI), I designed a toolkit to support neurodivergent students in mainstream and special education settings. This involved creating accessible, visually intuitive communication cards to assist children and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) in non-verbal communication.

Collaborating closely with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, I ensured that each design element was functional, inclusive, and aligned with evidence-based strategies. This experience deepened my understanding of accessible design and reinforced my commitment to using visual communication as a tool for empowerment and inclusion.
